Sales Policies for Branded & Private Label Products
The Logo Life Corporation mandates that all authorized customers (“you” or “authorized customer”) comply with its sales policies concerning:
- All branded products from Nike, OGIO®, The North Face®, Carhartt®, Champion®, Cotopaxi®, TravisMathew, New Era®, Eddie Bauer®, Red Kap®, Spacecraft®, Tommy Bahama®, Brooks Brothers®, Bulwark®, Alternative Apparel, Wink™, Russell Outdoors™, Outdoor Research®, Tentree®, and STANLEY/STELLA (collectively referred to as “Branded”), and
- All private label products from Port Authority®, Port & Company®, Sport-Tek®, CornerStone®, District®, Volunteer Knitwear™, Mercer+Mettle™, Red House®, and Allmade® (collectively referred to as “Private Label”).
The current guidelines for Branded and Private Label products are as follows:
- The Logo Life sells Branded and Private Label products exclusively to authorized customers who, at The Logo Life’s discretion:
- Avoid any advertising, promotion, distribution, or marketing tactics that misrepresent or harm Branded or Private Label products or their respective owners.
- Do not suggest any endorsement or sponsorship or affiliation with the Branded or Private Label products without prior written consent from the owners.
- Refrain from using illegal, deceptive, or unethical advertising or selling practices, including but not limited to predatory pricing, bait and switch tactics, or negative selling.
- Advertising or promoting products at prices discounted more than 10% for Branded products (except OGIO®) or 20% for Private Label products is prohibited. OGIO® gear bags cannot be discounted more than the price coded on an “R” (40% margin). The North Face®, TravisMathew, Cotopaxi®, Spacecraft®, Wink™, Outdoor Research®, and Tentree® products must not be advertised at more than a 10% discount below their coded book price, which is accessible on The Logo Life.com. Carhartt® and Tommy Bahama® products may not be advertised below their coded book price.
- If The Logo Life advertises any Branded or Private Label products at promotional prices, you may not further discount those products by more than 10% for Branded (other than OGIO®) or 20% for Private Label products compared to The Logo Life’s advertised prices. Specific restrictions apply to OGIO®, The North Face®, TravisMathew, and other select brands as stated in policy 2.
- You may only sell branded products from Nike, OGIO®, The North Face®, Champion®, Carhartt®, Cotopaxi®, TravisMathew, Tommy Bahama®, Brooks Brothers®, New Era®, Eddie Bauer®, Outdoor Research®, Tentree®, and STANLEY/STELLA with embellishment. Resale of products with generic or temporary decoration is not allowed. Online sales can only occur through your authorized website or another approved customer site. Sales on platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Craigslist, or Etsy are prohibited.
- Nike prohibits placing any logos, designs, or marks on its products that could negatively impact its brand image. This includes content that is obscene, promotes violence or illegal activities, or is related to adult entertainment. Additionally, decorations using proprietary marks or logos without authorization are not allowed, and exportation of Nike products outside the U.S. is forbidden. For inquiries, contact your representative.
- The North Face® similarly prohibits logo placement that detracts from its brand. Any unauthorized decoration or export of The North Face® products outside U.S. or its territories is also forbidden.
- Carhartt® restricts placement of logos or designs that adversely affect its brand. Only sales for uniforming purposes with prior written consent from The Logo Life’s Sales Compliance Team are allowed. Prohibited sales include traditional retail and promotional giveaways. For more information, consult your representative. Exportation outside the U.S. and Canada is prohibited.
- Eddie Bauer prohibits any markings that could tarnish its brand image. All products must be decorated before resale, and no export outside the U.S. or Canada is allowed.
- New Era® denies decoration that negatively impacts its brand, with export beyond U.S. prohibited.
- Red Kap® retains the right to refuse any modifications that do not align with its brand standards. Exportation outside North America is prohibited.
- Bulwark® enforces similar standards to ensure brand integrity. Exporting products outside North America is not permitted.
- Alternative® products must be sold with embellishment only. Selling unembellished products is strictly forbidden, and unauthorized decorations are not allowed.
- Champion® blank products must only be sold with embellishments. The sale of unembellished or blank Champion® products to any third parties—whether online or offline—is strictly prohibited. Additionally, decorating any Champion® garment with the Champion marks (including the C Logo) or logos associated with collegiate sports teams is expressly forbidden. Shipping or selling Champion® products outside North America is also not allowed. Champion® products must not be embellished in ways that imply brand endorsement or affiliation, contain explicit or violent content, promote hate or divisive messages, or advocate for irresponsible consumption of alcohol or illegal substances. Violations of this policy may result in the discontinuation of sales to the offending parties.
- OGIO® restricts the addition of any trademark, logo, or design that does not align with its high brand standards. All OGIO® products must be sold with embellishments, and exporting these products beyond the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico is prohibited.
- Cotopaxi® prohibits logos, emblems, or designs on its products that could tarnish its brand. This includes any content that is obscene, promotes violence, hate crimes, or illegal activities, and has connections to firearms, tobacco, or political campaigns. As an environmentally aware brand, Cotopaxi® reserves the right to disallow any designs that conflict with its identity. Decoration with logos from professional organizations requires prior approval. Exporting Cotopaxi® products outside the U.S. and Canada is not permitted.
- TravisMathew prohibits any logos or designs that could negatively impact its brand image. Similar to Cotopaxi®, any unauthorized decoration with professional marks is forbidden. Sales through golf course pro shops are also prohibited, and exporting TravisMathew products outside the U.S. is strictly limited.
- Wink™ prohibits the addition of any logos or designs that could harm its brand. Unauthorized decoration with any professional organization’s marks is not permitted. Exporting Wink™ products outside the U.S. and Canada is not allowed.
- Tommy Bahama® products cannot have any logos or designs that may negatively influence its brand perception. Unauthorized decorations with logos from professional organizations are strictly prohibited. Exporting Tommy Bahama® products outside the U.S. and Canada is prohibited.
- Spacecraft® prohibits any logos or designs that may damage the brand image, including those promoting violence or illegal activity. Unauthorized decorations with logos from professional organizations are also not allowed. Exportation of Spacecraft® products outside of the U.S. and North America is forbidden.
- Brooks Brothers® prohibits any logos or designs that would tarnish its brand. All designs or decorations must be pre-approved, and the export of Brooks Brothers® products outside the U.S. and its territories is not allowed.
- Outdoor Research® Similar to other brands, Outdoor Research® prohibits logos or designs that negatively affect its image. Unauthorized decorations with professional organizations’ marks are not allowed. Exporting Outdoor Research® products outside the U.S. and its territories is strictly prohibited.
- Tentree® prohibits logos and designs that may harm its brand reputation. It is prohibited to decorate products with logos from professional organizations without appropriate licensing. Exportation of Tentree® products outside the U.S. and Mexico is not allowed.
- American Red Cross does not allow logos or designs that could harm its brand. This includes content that is obscene or promotes illegal activities. Exporting products outside the U.S. and its territories is strictly prohibited.
- American Cancer Society Similar to the Red Cross, the American Cancer Society has stringent rules against logos or designs that could tarnish its image. Exportation of products outside the U.S. and its territories is prohibited.
- STANLEY/STELLA products must only be sold with embellishments. Selling unembellished or blank products is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in loss of selling privileges, and exporting products outside the U.S. and its territories is not allowed.
Compliance Enforcement Should The Logo Life determine that there has been a violation of these policies, it may provide written notice and suspend or terminate product sales.
Website Access The Logo Life requires authorized customers to provide access to their company websites. Denying access may result in cessation of sales.
